Watching Lesson Videos

Lesson videos are a required part of most online courses in the Leadership Learning Portal. These videos deliver the core training content and must be fully watched in order for progress to be recorded correctly.

When you start a video lesson, the system tracks your viewing automatically. Videos must be watched from beginning to end to be marked complete. Fast-forwarding is disabled, and skipping ahead is not allowed. This ensures that all participants receive the full training experience and the necessary context before moving forward in the course.

You may pause a video if needed and return to it later. When you resume, the video will continue from where you left off. Progress is only recorded once the video finishes playing completely. Closing the browser or navigating away before the video ends will prevent the lesson from being marked as complete.

Videos cannot be downloaded or saved for offline viewing. They must be watched directly within the Leadership Learning Portal. You can replay a video as many times as needed, even after it has been completed, which can be helpful when reviewing key concepts before a quiz or applying the material in real-world situations.

If a video appears locked or does not advance your progress, it usually means a previous required lesson has not been completed. Returning to the prior lesson and confirming it is fully finished will typically resolve the issue.

Watching lesson videos fully and attentively is essential, as quizzes and future lessons are often based directly on the material presented in these videos.
