Certificates for online courses are used to confirm that a participant has fully completed a training program within the Leadership Learning Portal (LLP). These certificates are generated automatically by the system once all course requirements have been met. There is no manual request or approval process for online course certificates.
To earn a certificate, the user must complete every required part of the course. This includes watching all lesson videos from start to finish, completing any required readings or activities, and passing all quizzes associated with the course. Progress must be fully completed in the correct order. Skipping steps or leaving videos unfinished will prevent the certificate from being issued.
Once an online course is completed, the certificate becomes available immediately. For Individual account holders, the certificate appears in their account and can be downloaded directly for personal records, professional development documentation, or compliance purposes.
For employees who were assigned the course by a Company Admin, certificate access works differently. Employees can see that the course has been completed, but they cannot download the certificate themselves. In these cases, the certificate is available only to the Company Admin, who can download and store it on behalf of the employee. This ensures that training records remain centralized and controlled by the organization.
Certificates for online courses remain available in the system unless the related enrollment or account is removed. There is no expiration date on certificates, and users or admins do not need to download them immediately. Certificates can be accessed again later when needed.
If a certificate does not appear after completing an online course, it usually means one of the required steps has not been fully completed. This may include an unfinished video, a quiz that has not been passed, or progress that did not properly save. Reviewing the course progress and confirming that all lessons show as complete will typically resolve the issue.
Online course certificates are issued automatically and consistently based on completion rules. This ensures that all participants meet the same standards before receiving proof of completion.
