Course Completion Rules

The Leadership Learning Portal follows clear completion rules to ensure all participants receive the full training experience and that certificates accurately reflect completed work. These rules apply to all users, regardless of account type.

Online courses are structured to be completed in a specific order. Lessons unlock one at a time, and users must complete each required step before moving forward. Skipping lessons, jumping ahead, or partially completing content is not allowed.

Video lessons must be watched from start to finish. Fast-forwarding, skipping, or downloading videos is disabled. Progress is only recorded once the video finishes playing. Users may pause and return later, but the video must be completed to unlock the next step.

Some lessons include quizzes. When a quiz is required, it must be completed and passed before the next lesson or section becomes available. Each quiz clearly shows the number of questions, the passing score, and the number of allowed attempts. If a quiz is not passed, users are expected to review the lesson content and try again.

Progress is saved automatically as lessons and quizzes are completed. There is no manual “save” button. If progress does not appear immediately, refreshing the page or signing out and back in usually resolves the issue.

A course is considered complete only when all required lessons, videos, and quizzes have been successfully finished. Once the system confirms completion, the course status updates automatically.

Certificates for online courses are generated only after full completion. Certificates cannot be issued early or manually for incomplete courses. For employee accounts, certificates are made available to the Company Admin, not the employee.

If a user is unable to move forward in a course, it is almost always because a required step has not been completed. Common reasons include an unfinished video, an unpassed quiz, or attempting to skip ahead in the course structure.

These rules exist to maintain consistent learning standards, ensure fair certification, and protect accurate training records across individuals and organizations.
