Video Playback Rules

Video lessons are a required part of many courses in the Leadership Learning Portal. These videos are designed to ensure every participant receives the same instruction and context before moving forward in a course.

All lesson videos must be watched in full from start to finish. Fast-forwarding, skipping ahead, or downloading videos is not allowed. Progress is only recorded after the video finishes playing completely. If a video is paused or closed before it ends, the system will not mark that step as complete.

You may pause a video if needed and return to it later. When you resume, the video will continue from where you left off, but progress will still only be saved once the video reaches the end. Rewatching a video is always allowed and does not affect your progress negatively.

These rules exist to ensure consistency across all learners. Many quizzes and follow-up activities depend on information covered in the videos, and completing them fully helps prevent confusion later in the course.

If a video appears locked or does not advance your progress, it usually means the video has not finished playing or the page was exited too early. Refreshing the page or signing out and back in often resolves display issues. If the problem continues, contact support for assistance.
