Completing an Online Course

An online course in the Leadership Learning Portal is considered complete only after all required steps have been finished. This process is designed to ensure every participant fully engages with the material and meets the learning standards set by Accelerated Leadership.

As you move through a course, progress is tracked automatically. You do not need to manually save your work or submit a completion request. The system monitors lesson completion, video playback, and quiz results in real time.

To complete an online course, you must finish every lesson in the order they are presented. Required videos must be watched from start to finish. Fast-forwarding or skipping videos is not allowed, and progress will not advance until the video has fully played. If a lesson includes a quiz, the quiz must be passed before the next lesson unlocks. If you do not pass a quiz on the first attempt, you can review the lesson content and try again, as long as attempts remain.

Once the final lesson, video, and quiz are completed, the course is automatically marked as completed by the system. There is no additional confirmation step required. At that point, the course will no longer appear as “in progress” on your dashboard and will instead show as completed.

After completion, a certificate is generated automatically. Certificate access depends on your account role. Individual users can download their own certificates directly from their account. Employees assigned to the course cannot download certificates themselves; instead, their Company Admin is responsible for downloading and managing employee certificates on behalf of the organization.

If you do not see your course marked as complete, it usually means one of the required steps has not been fully finished. This is most often caused by a video not being watched to the end or a quiz not being passed. Returning to the course and reviewing the progress indicators will typically show which step is still pending.

Completing an online course unlocks your training record, certificate eligibility, and allows you to move on to additional courses or live events within the Leadership Learning Portal.
