Failing a quiz in the Leadership Learning Portal does not lock you out of the course or penalize your progress. Quizzes are designed to reinforce learning, not to catch you off guard or prevent completion. If a quiz is not passed on the first attempt, the system simply pauses forward progress until the requirements are met.
When a quiz is failed, the course will prevent access to the next lesson or section. This is intentional and ensures that the material is fully understood before moving forward. You can still navigate back to the lesson or video that came before the quiz and review the content as many times as needed.
Most quizzes allow more than one attempt. The number of attempts allowed is shown clearly when the quiz opens. If attempts remain, you may retake the quiz after reviewing the lesson. Many users find it helpful to rewatch the lesson video or reread the material before trying again.
If all allowed attempts are used and the quiz is still not passed, the course will remain paused at that point. In this situation, you should contact support for assistance. Support can review your account, confirm completion steps, and guide you on the next action if additional help is required.
Failing a quiz does not reset your course or erase completed progress. All completed lessons and videos remain marked as complete. Once the quiz is passed, the course automatically unlocks the next step and you can continue without interruption.
