If you find that you cannot move forward in a course, lesson, or section, this usually means a required step has not been fully completed yet. The Leadership Learning Portal is designed to follow a structured learning path, so progress unlocks only when all requirements for the current step are met.
The most common reason progress is locked is an incomplete video. Lesson videos must be watched from start to finish for the system to record completion. Fast-forwarding is disabled, and leaving the video early will prevent the next lesson or quiz from unlocking. If progress appears stuck, return to the lesson and replay the video all the way through.
Another common cause is an incomplete or failed quiz. Some lessons include quizzes that must be passed before you can continue. If the required passing score has not been met, the next lesson will remain locked. In this case, go back to the lesson before the quiz, review the content, and retake the quiz if attempts are still available.
Progress may also appear locked if lessons are completed out of order. Courses must be completed in sequence, and skipping ahead is not allowed. Even if later lessons are visible in the course menu, they will remain inaccessible until earlier lessons are fully completed.
In some cases, progress appears locked due to a temporary sync issue. If you believe you have completed all required steps, try refreshing the page, signing out and back in, or reopening the course from your dashboard. Progress updates automatically and usually resolves with a refresh.
For employee accounts, progress may seem limited due to role restrictions. Employees can only access courses and events that have been assigned to them by a Company Admin. If a course or lesson is missing entirely, it may not have been assigned.
If you have confirmed that videos are fully watched, quizzes are passed, and lessons are completed in order—but progress is still locked—contact support through the Contact page. Support can review your account activity and help resolve any issues preventing progression.
