How Quizzes Work

Quizzes are used in the Leadership Learning Portal to confirm understanding of course material before a learner moves forward. Not every lesson includes a quiz, but when a quiz is part of a course, it is a required step and must be completed successfully to continue.

Quizzes appear at specific points in a course, usually after one or more lessons or videos. Their placement is intentional and tied directly to the content that was just covered. When a quiz becomes available, the next lesson or section remains locked until the quiz requirements are met.

Each quiz clearly displays important details before you begin, including the number of questions, the minimum passing score, and how many attempts are allowed. These rules are set in advance and apply equally to all learners taking that course.

To pass a quiz, you must meet or exceed the required score. If you do not pass on the first attempt and additional attempts are available, you may retake the quiz. It is recommended that you return to the lesson content, review the material carefully, and then try again. This approach is designed to support learning rather than penalize mistakes.

If all allowed attempts are used and the quiz is still not passed, the course will remain locked at that point. In this situation, you may need assistance from support to determine next steps.

Quizzes control course progression. Until a quiz is passed, the system will prevent access to the next lesson or section. Once the quiz is successfully completed, the next part of the course unlocks automatically, and your progress is updated right away.

You can review previous lessons at any time, even after passing a quiz. This allows you to revisit material for reinforcement or clarification without affecting your progress.

Company Admins can view quiz activity and results for employees as part of progress tracking, but employees and individual users only see their own quiz information.

Quizzes exist to ensure consistent learning outcomes and to confirm that key concepts have been understood before moving forward. If a quiz appears unavailable or locked, it is almost always because a required lesson or video has not yet been fully completed.
