Understanding System Emails

The Leadership Learning Portal sends system emails to keep users informed about their account activity, training progress, and important actions that require attention. These emails are a core part of how the portal communicates, and they help ensure nothing important is missed.

System emails are sent automatically based on actions taken inside the portal. They are not marketing emails and are directly tied to your account, courses, events, or security.

You may receive system emails for things like account creation and verification, password resets, course enrollments or assignments, live event registrations, reminders before an event, course completion confirmations, and certificate availability. Company Admins may also receive emails related to employee assignments, orders, invoices, or billing status.

All system emails are sent to the email address associated with your account. This is why keeping your email address up to date in your profile is important. If you update your email address, future system emails will go to the new address once the change is saved.

Some emails require action. For example, verification emails and password reset emails include secure links that must be clicked to complete the process. These links are time-sensitive for security reasons. If a link expires, you can request a new one from the portal.

Other emails are informational only. These include confirmations that training has been assigned, reminders about upcoming live events, or notifications that a certificate is available. While these emails do not require action, they are useful for tracking your training activity and staying on schedule.

If you are not receiving system emails, first check your spam or junk folder. You should also make sure emails from the portal are allowed by your email provider. Company email systems may block automated messages unless they are explicitly permitted.

If you believe an email should have been sent but was not received, or if you are unsure whether an email is legitimate, contact support through the portal’s contact page for assistance.

System emails are designed to support your training experience, not overwhelm you. Reviewing them regularly helps ensure your account stays secure and your training stays on track.
