Choosing Between Individual and Company Admin Accounts

When creating an account in the Leadership Learning Portal (LLP), users must choose between an Individual account and a Company Admin account. This choice determines what features are available after login and how training is managed. While the selection is important, it is not permanent and can be changed later if needed.

An Individual account is designed for users who are participating in leadership training for themselves only. This option is best for professionals who want to enroll in courses, register for live events, complete lessons, and download their own certificates. Individual users manage only their own learning activity and do not have access to employee management or purchasing tools for others.

A Company Admin account is intended for users who manage training for a team or organization. In addition to completing their own courses and events, Company Admins can add employees, assign courses and live events, purchase training on behalf of others, track employee progress, and download certificates for employees. This account type centralizes training management and record keeping for companies.

Employees do not create their own accounts through registration. Instead, they are added by a Company Admin and receive login credentials by email. Employee accounts are limited to completing assigned training and viewing progress, without access to enrollment, checkout, or certificates.

If a user is unsure which account type to choose, it is generally recommended to start with an Individual account unless employee training management is clearly required. Individual accounts can be upgraded to Company Admin accounts at any time through Profile Settings. Downgrading from Company Admin to Individual is also possible, but only after all employees have been removed to protect training records.

Choosing the correct account type ensures that the portal functions as expected and prevents confusion around permissions, enrollment options, and certificate access.
