Company Admins can add employees to the Leadership Learning Portal so training can be assigned and tracked at the company level. Employees do not create their own accounts. All employee access is created and managed by a Company Admin to ensure training records and certificates remain accurate and centralized.
To add an employee, the Company Admin must be signed in and access the Employee Management area from the dashboard navigation. From there, the admin can choose to add a new user and enter the employee’s basic information. This typically includes the employee’s first name, last name, email address, job title, and a temporary password.
Once the employee is added, the system automatically creates an employee account and sends an email invitation to the employee. This email includes their login information and instructions for accessing the portal. Employees are encouraged to change their temporary password after their first login for security purposes.
After an employee account is created, the employee will appear in the employee list. At this point, the employee does not yet have access to any training. Courses and live events must be explicitly assigned by the Company Admin during checkout. Employees cannot enroll themselves, browse paid training, or access the shopping cart.
Employees see a simplified version of the portal when they log in. Their dashboard only displays the courses and live events that have been assigned to them. They can complete lessons, watch videos, take quizzes, and track their own progress, but they cannot manage other users, place orders, or download certificates.
If an employee does not receive their invitation email, the Company Admin can resend login credentials from the Employee Management area. If an employee leaves the company or no longer requires access, the admin can remove the employee account. Removing an employee also removes their training access from the company account.
Adding employees through the Company Admin account ensures that training assignments, progress tracking, and certificates remain controlled by the organization while giving employees a clear and focused learning experience.
