Assigning courses to employees allows Company Admins to control who receives training and ensure the correct people are enrolled. Employees cannot enroll themselves, so all course assignments must be completed by a Company Admin.
To assign a course, the Company Admin must first be signed in to their account. Courses can be browsed the same way as individual users by visiting the Courses section of the portal. When a course is selected, the admin adds the course to the cart.
Once the course is in the cart, an Assign option appears next to the course. This step is required before checkout can be completed. Selecting Assign opens a list of available users under the company account. The admin chooses which employees should receive access to that course. The admin may also assign the course to themselves if needed.
Each employee selected increases the quantity for that course automatically. This ensures the system accurately tracks how many users are being enrolled and ties the course access to the correct individuals.
After all assignments are complete, the admin proceeds to checkout. No employee gains access to the course until checkout is finished. Once checkout is completed, assigned employees immediately see the course appear on their dashboard and can begin training right away.
Employees receive notification emails letting them know training has been assigned. From that point forward, employees can access the course, watch videos, complete lessons, and take quizzes, but they cannot modify or remove the assignment.
If changes are needed later, such as assigning the course to additional employees, the Company Admin must repeat the assignment process by adding the course again and assigning it during checkout.
This assignment process ensures training access, progress tracking, and certificates are accurately managed under the company account and remain fully controlled by the Company Admin.
