Missing or Delayed Certificates

If you do not see a certificate when you expect one, it is usually due to a required step not being completed yet rather than a system error. Certificates in the Leadership Learning Portal are rule-based and only appear once all conditions are met.


For online courses, a certificate is generated only after the entire course is completed. This means all lessons must be finished, all required videos must be watched from start to finish, and any quizzes must be passed. If even one lesson or quiz is incomplete, the certificate will not appear. Returning to the course and checking your progress usually reveals what is still pending.


For live events, certificates work differently. Registering for an event does not automatically create a certificate. The event must first take place, and then attendance must be manually marked by an Accelerated Leadership administrator. Until attendance is confirmed, the certificate will remain unavailable, even if you were registered and attended the event.


If you are an employee account, certificates will not appear in your own account for download. Employee certificates are controlled by the Company Admin. Once training is completed or attendance is marked, the certificate becomes available to the Company Admin, who can download and store it for company records. Employees may see that training is completed, but they will not see a downloadable certificate.


In some cases, certificates may appear delayed if attendance has not yet been marked for a live event or if the system has not refreshed after course completion. Signing out and back in, or refreshing the dashboard, can sometimes resolve visibility issues.


If you believe all requirements have been met and the certificate is still missing, the next step is to contact support. Support can verify course completion, confirm attendance status, and ensure the certificate is generated correctly. You can submit a request through the Contact page on the portal with your name, email, and the course or event in question.


Certificates are never issued early or manually for incomplete training. Once all requirements are satisfied, the certificate will appear automatically according to your account role.
